Azienda Agricola Innocenti is located in Montalcino, in the Citille di Sotto area, situated on a hill, 350 meters above sea level, with well exposed land to the south, and is run directly by the brothers Gianni and Massimo Innocenti.

Tradition

From the soil to the bottle

The plant, which has 7 hectares of vineyards facing south and lying on rolling hills 350 m. s.l.m.c which looking at the town of Montalcino, guarantees an optimal ripening of the grapes produced. The vineyards are accompanied by 4 hectares of olive groves, from which an excellent extra virgin olive oil is produced, as well as some plots of land of other agricultural crops.

Deep ruby with orange tinges. A spicy nose that holds back on the fruit. The fruit is also reluctant to come out on the palate. Slow build-up of fragrant cherry on the finish and with heaps of tannins. Very long yet slow and could do with another year in bottle. (W5)

This manages to be very deep, sweet and earthy as well as reraining a certain delicacy. A great combination of classical elegance and creaminess on the palate. The polished dry tannins come through at the very long finish, leaving you in no doubt. Drink or hold.
